UNIT I. TALK ME ABOUT YOURSELF
Objectives: At the end of this unit students will be able to express and ask about past habits, and actions using “used to” and the past tense by asking their classmates about activities that they used to do using regular and irregular verbs always pronouncing them in the correct way.
What would we assess?
LISTENING
Asking about someone’s childhood.
Listening comprehension: students will be asked to listen a conversation about past activities and to pay attention to the tenses used. The conversation is going to be listened twice, and then in group the teacher will ask them about the tenses used in the conversation.
In listening we are going to evaluate recognize ability: listening their classmates, record play and repetition
WRITING
Remembering your childhood.
Writing: Let the students remember and write about their childhood.
In writing we are going to evaluate the structure the phrases and teach them to write sentences using past and present forms. The use of regular and irregular verbs in past tenses in writing.
SPEAKING
Describing events that happen in the past.
Speaking: Encourage the students to share an anecdote about important event that happened in their past.
In speaking we are going to evaluate the pronunciation that students make in the classroom. Checking fluency, pronunciation, intonation, accuracy and the way that students use the language to express what they want to say about something that happened in the past.
